Tasos Petsas as “Tasos P.” (born in Athens 9 October 1975) is a  Greek creator of electronic music.  From an early age studied synthesizer and received his diploma in 1993. He also graduated from Athens Law University in 2000 with a post graduate degree in the Civil Law. He continued his studies taking several courses of electronic music production and also taking vocal lessons for three years. For 5 years has played in several pubs in Athens as a DJ while he was a radio producer in S-Radio and Hephaestus Wien Web Radio Stations.

In 2015 releases the instrumental track “Mother Of Mine (Anna)”, which was actually composed in 1992 dedicated to his  mother "Anna" who passed away in April of 2013 suffering from breast cancer. He then decides to dedicate it to her memory giving it the title "Mother Of Mine (Anna)" since she was so fond of it.  The public's reaction was very positive. The track debuted at #1 on the Greek Billboard Chart staying into top-10 for 23 weeks and also entered the Euro-200 and awarded with two Bronze Global Music Awards at California, USA

On December releases his first album called "Heart Of Mine (Anna)" by the Independent Record Label "FM Records". The album was promoted with the release of the trip hop opera duet called “Angel Of Mine”, with Manja Vlachogianni, a crossover soprano, writer and actress. The song reached the #3 spot on the Greek Billboard and also entered the Euro-200 chart.

In October of 2016 Tasos P. collaborates with Greek American musican Thespina Patrona on the song “Anna (Mother of Mine)”,  a reworked version of his first hit “Mother Of Mine (Anna)” which climbed to #2 on the Greek Billboard Chart and made it on the Europe 200 Chart. “Anna” was also the official soundtrack for “Prevention Through Art”, a Cancer Awareness Campaign in Greece organized by Dimitris Lazarou and featured on the Greek National television channel  EPT A.E.

On February of 2017 the creator inspired by the historical revivals at the fortresses of Roupel and Istimpei (6-10 April 1941) and composed a music theme for a short documentary called “Voices (Istimpei)” which debuted at #2 on the Greek Billboard and became his fifth single in a row which entered the Euro-200 chart.

On April of 2018 releases his 6 track "EP" called “Libra (1975) Part One”. The lead single “Michael” was composed in loving of his father Michael who suddenly passed away last April. The track reached at #5 on IFPI Official Greek Singles Chart and entered into UK Digital Charts. Later on June released the house instrumental single called "Untitled" a symbolic track which brings together the memories of the past, the everyday life of the present, and the expectations of the future. The song reached at #8 on IFPI Official Greek Singles Chart and entered into UK Digital Charts.

On the 9th of October, the day of his birthday, the composer released the cinematic instrumental track “Bliss”. The song reached at #5 on IFPI Greek Official Singles Chart and also entered into UK Digital Charts. Later on December the song remixed by himself and released as "Bliss Film Version" which also had similar success and used as a music theme into the awarded greek short film "Returns" and awarded with two Bronze Global Music Awards at California, USA. 

 

On February of 2019 Tasos P. released his 11th single called "BabyLove" with Baltimore’s soul singer Genevieve on vocals.  The seventies soul track reached #9 spot into the Official Singles of IFPI Greece and entered into the UK Soul Digital Singles Charts. The creator after winning four Global Music Awards in USA for his singles "Mother Of Mine (Anna)" and "Bliss (Film Version)", released later on July the second part of “Libra (1975) -Part Two “, a 5 track E.P. The lead single called "Tokyo Boy", an optimistic track which written for a young boy in Tokyo who lost his parents and learns how to grow independent following his dream to become one day an Olympic Champion. The track reached #2 on Billboard Digital Sales Chart and entered into the Top-100 of IFPI Greek Official Singles Chart.

On December of 2019 the composer released the compilation album "The Libra Sessions" which includes some previous releases on new remixes and some new tracks. The brand new tracks were the garage track "Give High Love" and the electro gospel Christmas ballad "Dream" featuring the cross-over soprano Manja Vlachogianni on vocals. Both tracks reached #1 on the Greek Billboard Singles Chart and also the compilation album won a Silver Global Music Award for Outstanding Achivement at California USA.

Next Year on November of 2020 Tasos P. released his third album called "Retro Boy". Three singles have been released from that album. The first is called "Isolated" inspired by the COVID pandemic, the second was "Humane" inspired by George's Floyd death with French singer Ny Aina on vocals and the third was the greek song "Pes mou ti simainei agapi"/"Tell Me What Love Means".  The album has been awarded with a Bronze Global Music Award at California USA.

On June of 2021 returned with the retro summer eighties french song "Été D'Amour" which topped the World UK Digital Singles Chart. "Été D' Amour" was a Semi-Finalist in the World Music Category on The International Songwriting Competition (ISC) (2021) and also on the UK Songwriting Competition (2022). 

​

On September of 2022 releases the french single "Ce Soir" with Aladine Guettaf on vocals and on December of the same years releases the electronic instrumental track "Looking At The Stars". Both tracks have been reached #1 on iTunes Weekly Chart and entered into Euro-200 chart. 

​

During 2023 the composer succeeded with the composition of “Angel Of Mine” to qualify for the semi-final of the global composition competition “International Songwriting Competition” and at the same time win the Global Music Award in America. Also, in April his track “Digital Love” was included in the playlist of the popular radio show BBC Music Introducing in UK. On 16/05 releases his new double digital single entitled “Remembering” which is accompanied by a unique trippy animated video clip depicting two parallel worlds by Christos Koutroufinis. The track reached the #1 spot on Weekly iTunes Greek Sales and entered into the UK Top-40 Dance Chart. 

​

On July Tasos P. has been selected as a Voting Member of Recording Academy (Grammys). 

​

On November releases his new E.P. called "Like Eternity". The title track has been entered into the Top-100 of Digital UK Chart and reached the #2 spot in the Worldwide UK Chart.
